MEMENTO PIECES

The unique, timeless porcelain sculptures are made in a special production process and provide a personal form of private remembrance. Each individually made, coloured porcelain globe contains some of the ashes of the deceased, which were bound in porcelain and baked in a special process.

Two sculpture motifs are available, MEMENTO ANGEL and MEMENTO MOON. Each motif consists of a main figurine made of light, unglazed porcelain and an individually made porcelain globe painted with gemstone pigment and decorated with gold leaf. This porcelain globe is what makes these ceramic sculptures so unique. Furthermore the two current main figurine motifs, MEMENTO ANGEL and MEMENTO MOON, give the sculptures an additional, deeply symbolic meaning.
